Amsterdang, founded in 2009, is owned and operated by Kim Stearns. Just as the company name dictates, Kim brings her unique ability to combine truly killer names with a business-sense that’s pretty darn hard to find.

The tenets of Amsterdang:

1. Your company’s name should be given as much thought as your company’s business plan, you fools

2. Just because your sister’s brother-in-law’s cousin once wrote a sentence for a brochure on botany, doesn’t qualify her as copywriter.

3. Your name should be unique, exciting, clever, weird, funny, awkward, slightly offensive, moderately silly, partially stupid, and, most importantly, memorable.
